We are gluten free and they brought us some bread that we could eat. Actually the entire menu the night we went was quite GF friendly. The service is attentive but not quite fast, but the ambiance makes it the kind of place you want to lazily graze on your dishes and fall in love. We will be back. read lessCeallaigh P.6/12/2019

The two of us got there right at opening on Wednesday (6PM) and got a table easily. However, they do not take reservations for parties of 2, so plan ahead! By around 7:30 the place was full.
The atmosphere is cozy, with dim lighting, and rustic furniture. The small kitchen is open and smells amazing. This would be a great place for a date.
Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, giving us great recommendations. He worked the whole floor, sat people, and bussed tables all by himself, and still was kind and energetic.
We ordered/shared a delicious cheese platter, chorizo, and custard for dessert. All were so delicious, worth the high prices. The live fire presentation on the chorizo was awesome too, and gave the chorizo that delicious charred taste.
Overall, I highly recommend this place- and bringing a bottle of wine with you! read lessKaitlin A.4/18/2019

So finally today we made it!! And as soon as we entered, we were very welcomed by a waiter and he explained the one and only cute chalk board menu on the wall. And we were quickly seated. My husband wanted to try the garden snail fish, which was not on the menu for the day, but luckily they had them in stock so we were able to order the dish. While we were waiting for our foods to be served, we were so captivated by their cute decor and cozy environment. Additionally, Broa is byob so we brought our own bottle of wine, the waiter was very nice and kindly opened the bottle and served us the glasses. Most lovely part was that their food was simply AMAZING. We ordered several dishes since it's small dishes. And we loved every single dish. They had right amount of seasoning and perfectly cooked for flavor. Altogether, we had such an amazing time and we will definitely come back to this place. read lessRachel J.10/28/2018

Broa is small, semi-intimate, and understated. Walking by various times, I never even noticed the downstairs entrance into the restaurant. Take a photo of the chalkboard menu, it's updated everyday-- there's no menu. We were welcomed by the owner. Bring your own wine or beer: there's a store located about 2 blocks south (CoolVines on Grove). We had Pastéis(Bolinhos) de Bacalhau (cod fish cakes), Mexilhão (mussels) with garlic and chorizo. Small portion plates like "largish tapas." Delicious! read lessNeal H.1/18/2019

The place is small with a lively vibe. Our server (Tiago) was extremely friendly and service was outstanding. We were in a group of 7 and had so much fun at this restaurant. Sat for over 3 1/2 hours! We opted for the tasting menu at $40 which was very reasonable. The food was different and delicious. We had no idea what was coming which added to the fun. The menu gets changed daily or weekly. It is BYOB which keeps the cost down. Will definitely visit this place again. read lessJacqueline D.11/16/2018
